Stephen McCabe is a seasoned technology professional with 45 years of experience, 38 of which were spent in the financial industry. He has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of technology and finance.

Steve began his career in technology in 1978 as a computer operator while attending University at night. He quickly became a computer programmer and continued in that role for seven years before moving to the financial industry. In 1985, he joined Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder, Inc. as a senior software developer and worked his way up to the position of Senior Vice President of Information Technology. In 2001, Steve accepted the position of Managing Director, Global Head of IT for the Americas at Daiwa Capital Markets America. Steve retired from Daiwa Capital Markets in 2022 to pursue new part-time consulting opportunities. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business from Hofstra University. He also completed a Web Technology Certification program with the same institution. Additionally, he attended an Executive Training program at Columbia University as well as multiple courses at the New York Institute of Finance. Lastly, Steve holds the Series 99 and SIE certifications.

Throughout his career, Steve has been active in the field of technology and finance. In 2001, he was a member of the SIFMA Data Management Division where he held many positions such as Secretary, Treasurer and eventually the Chair of the IT Committee. He also participated on the NYSE IT Committee for three years.
